How to recharge a Apple Watch ?

TheApple Watch is a popular connected watch, which offers many useful features and for many of its users has become a real daily essential. But, to be useful and to work properly, it needs to be recharged quite regularly. The frequency of recharging will vary according to your usage, including the possible use of the 4G or 5G cellular network, the use of the vibrator and the time spent with the active screen, i.e. when you handle it. Most users recharge it once a day, while sleeping.

Here are the 3 steps to follow to properly charge your Apple Watch :

Step 1: Connect the magnetic charging cable provided with your Apple Watch, or the third-party charger to a power source

If you're using the Apple-supplied charger, you can either plug directly into a wall outlet or use a USB or USB-C adapter depending on the model of your Apple Watch to connect it to a computer.
If you use a third-party charger, such as

make sure that the power supply has enough power to charge theApple Watch and other devices to be charged.

Step 2: Place the circular part of the cable on the back of your Apple Watch

Place the Magnetic to USB-C Quick Charge Cable for Apple Watch (included withApple Watch Series 7 or later) or the Magnetic Charging Cable for Apple Watch (included with models prior to Series 7) on the back of your Apple Watch. The magnets will then hold the cable in place.

Step 3: Your Apple Watch starts loading automatically

A small charging lightning will appear on the screen of your Apple Watch to indicate that the watch is charging. It will be red if your connected watch needs to be charged. It will be green to indicate that theApple Watch is charging. Finally, it will be yellow in case your Apple Watch is in power saving mode. You can charge your Apple Watch flat with the band open or you can put it on one of the sides.

TheApple Watch Ultra may display an icon indicating that the "optimized charging limit" feature is active. This feature assimilates your daily charging routines to identify the optimal time to charge your watch's battery. The goal is to extend the battery life while allowing you to get the most out of your Apple Watch. This feature is enabled by default when you set up your Apple Watch Ultra.

All you have to do is wait for your Apple Watch to recharge completely or up to the limit defined according to your uses. This can take a few minutes, as well as a few hours depending on the model of your Apple Watch and its initial charge level. Once the charge is complete, you can disconnect the magnetic cable from your Apple Watch.

By following these very simple and quick steps, you will effectively recharge your Apple Watch.

You can of course charge your Apple Watch even if you don't have the original cable anymore. You can find several types of chargers in our "Accessories" category.
